The Return of Hashem
The expression <the coming or the Return of God> is used when Hashem manifests his presence through visible signs. Hashem came for the first time on earth when he made the first covenant with Israel and promised to return to make the new covenant.
Isaiah 11:11 11 And it shall come to pass in that day, That the Lord will set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people, That shall remain from Assyria, and from Egypt, And from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, And from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
Hashem confirmed that he will bring back his mountain Zion on earth and his new city Jerusalem will also be holy
Isaiah 2:2-4 2 And it shall come to pass in the end of days, That the mountain of HASHEM house Shall be established as the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many peoples shall go and say: ‘Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of HASHEM, To the house of the God of Jacob; And He will teach us of His ways, And we will walk in His paths.’ For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of HASHEM from Jerusalem. 4 And He shall judge between the nations, And shall decide for many peoples; And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruninghooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war any more.
Why is Hashem comimg back?
Hashem will destroy all nations and all earthly gods because they broke his covenant and they rejected his Law.
Isaiah 24:5. 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; Because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statute, Broken the everlasting covenant.
Isaiah 2:18-19. 18 And the idols shall utterly pass away. 19 And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, And into the holes of the earth, From before the terror of HASHEM. And from the glory of His majesty, When He ariseth to shake mightily the earth.
Hashem will elect a new people of his Name because israel was no longer worthy in the eyes of God
Isaiah 65:1 &15 1 I gave access to them that asked not for Me, I was at hand to them that sought Me not; I said: ‘Behold Me, behold Me’, Unto a nation that was not called by My name.
15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto Mine elect: ‘So may the Lord HASHEM slay thee’; But He shall call His servants by another name;
The new people of Hashem will be elected from the people of the nations
Isaiah 45:14-15 14 Thus saith HASHEM: The labour of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, And of the Sabeans, men of stature, Shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine; They shall go after thee, in chains they shall come over; And they shall fall down unto thee, They shall make supplication unto thee: Surely God is in thee, and there is none else, There is no other God. 15 Verily Thou art a God that hidest Thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
Hashem promised to purify their lips and to teach them a pure language so that they can know how to serve him and to worship his name
Zephaniah 3:8-9 8 Therefore wait ye for Me, saith HASHEM, Until the day that I rise up to the prey; For My determination is to gather the nations, That I may assemble the kingdoms, To pour upon them Mine indignation, Even all My fierce anger; For all the earth shall be devoured With the fire of My jealousy. 9 For then will I turn to the peoples A pure language, That they may all call upon the name of HASHEM, To serve Him with one consent.
Hashem will make the new covenant with the people and will make them the light of the nations
Isaiah 42:6, 49:8 6 I HASHEM have called thee in righteousness, And have taken hold of thy hand, And kept thee, and set thee for a covenant of the people, For a light of the nations;
A new location will be chosen by Hashem where He will place his holy mountain and where will be his holy city and his temple.
Isaiah 33:17-24 20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemn gatherings; Thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a peaceful habitation, A tent that shall not be removed, The stakes whereof shall never be plucked up, Neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken. 21 But there HASHEM will be with us in majesty, In a place of broad rivers and streams; Wherein shall go no galley with oars, Neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
Hashem will present his Messiah who will be the king of all nations, he will be a joy for many nations
Isaiah 52:15 (49:5-6) 15 So shall he startle many nations, Kings shall shut their mouths because of him; For that which had not been told them shall they see, And that which they had not heard shall they perceive.
Hashem will destroy the power of death for his new elect people; they will rejoice for ever in New Jerusalem, more weeping, no more crying.
Isaiah 65:17-19 17 For, behold, I create new heavens And a new earth; And the former things shall not be remembered, Nor come into mind. 18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever In that which I create; For, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, And her people a joy. 19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, And joy in My people; And the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, Nor the voice of crying.
The people of the saints of the Most High Hashem will be given the evarlasting kigndom, all dominions shall serve and obey them
Daniel 7:27 27 And the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; their kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them.’
Hashem alone will reign on earth as unique King and unique God of all his earthly creatures for eternity.
Zechariah 14:9 9 And HASHEM shall be King over all the earth; In that day shall HASHEM be One, and His name one.
